Challenge
Since its founding over 20 years ago, Jamf has gone through non-stop change, growing from a small business in Eau Claire, WI, to a global, publicly-traded company with 14 offices in 11 countries. Yet one thing has remained constant: the Jamf Report, its weekly all-company meeting.
Of course, as the company evolved, so too did the Jamf Report, starting as an in-person standup and shifting to traditional video calls as offices spread across time zones and borders. Even then, those virtual meetings didn’t quite match the vision of Jamf’s internal comms strategy or the needs they now had as a global company, with updates coming from different time zones.
“As our strategy for the Jamf Report shifted to a mix of live-to-tape and on-demand content, we needed more flexibility to accommodate both formats — obviously, you can’t upload video files to conferencing platforms,” says Merlin Gulick, Videographer. Instead, they needed a platform that could manage, host, and distribute multi-facted content securely and at scale.
But that wasn’t the only problem that needed solving. As Jamf leaned more on video to communicate, the team also found their content quickly getting lost in the mix. “There was an additional push to organize our internal video content, because there wasn’t a space for them to live,” says Merlin.
“By investing in Vimeo, we empower our team to communicate, collaborate, and succeed together.”
